Natural Play

Designed for a COVID-19 safe hand-free play area, this log-hopping trail is a versatile and eye-catching installment in Waterloo Millennium Green. By skirting the perimeter of the park with the log trail, we managed to salvage some of the areas of the park that was previously ignored by people due to disuse of it.

Inadvertently, we created a mass amount of seating as the park is a focal point for people on their lunch breaks. The logs and the carved trees provide pockets of privacy for groups of people to gather around and enjoy the multitude of good food that surrounds the area.
